Image Management System v4.0 (PRO Version)
  Administration Panel Manual

################################################################

>> GENERAL SETTINGS

Use this page to set the essential variables needed to run you
IMS. This should be the first place you go after installing. If
you only plan on hosting free users, you can set your PayPal
Email Address to whatever you want. However, if you plan to host
paid accounts, you must enter your PRIMARY PayPal account email
address in this field. Also, this PayPal account MUST be able to
accept credit card payments via the IPN feature.

>> USER MANAGER

The User Manager allows you to create, modify, and delete users.
If you would like to create a new user, click the Add New User
button, and either select a pricing plan or enter custom account
settings.

If you would like to only modify a user, find it in your user
list and click its username. If you have modified the account
settings (space, bandwidth, etc.) of a user on a pricing plan,
they will be removed from the plan and be categorized as a
"Custom Account".

If you would like to delete one or more users, simply click the
checkbox next to their name(s) and click the Delete Selected
Users button at the bottom of your user list. This page will
show you what kind of users you are about to delete - some may
have active PayPal subscriptions to your service. Before actually
deleting these users, you must login to your PayPal account and
cancel their subscriptions manually. When you have finished this,
you can choose whether you want to send a notification email to
the users about to be deleted.

WARNING: Do NOT change your PayPal email address after
paid users have already signed up. This could
lead to old users paying your old address and
new users paying your new address at the same
		 time.

>> PENDING SIGNUPS

The Pending Signups page is only available if you have activated
the "New Account Approval/Rejection" feature on the User Settings
page. If activated, this feature will make users who signup wait
until you have approved their account until they can login. Once
they login, paid users will be forced to create their PayPal
subscription. WARNING: If you turn the approval/rejection feature
off while new users are still waiting to be approved/rejected,
they will automatically be approved.

>> EMAIL USERS

Use this page to send a mass email to all registered users. If you
have a large number of users, please be patient while the script
emails them in small chunks.

>> PRICING PLANS

After General Settings, the Pricing Plans page is the second place
you should go immediately after installing your IMS. It allows you
to create free or paid account types for which users can signup.
In order to avoid inconsistencies between users, you may NOT modify
a plan that has already been created. Also, you cannot delete a
plan that has users on it. If you want to delete a plan, you must
delete/modify any users that are on it. If you want to keep a plan
but avoid new users from signing up for it or upgrading to it,
simply change its "Plan Status" to OFF.

WARNING: You must have a PayPal account that can accept IPN
payments in order to use paid pricing plans!

>> FAQ MANAGER

Use this page to configure the categories, questions and answers
from the FAQ page which users can access via their support area.
To modify an object (question or category), simply click its title.

>> DEMO SETTINGS

The Demo Settings page allows you to setup a demo account with which
your guests can login and see what the members' area looks like.
They will be able to upload images, create folders, etc., but they
will not be able to modify the account information, cancel the
account, and so forth.

>> USER SETTINGS

The User Settings page contains four boxes. In the first box, you
can enable/disable the rotate/resize image features. If you have a
slower server and want to avoid script timeouts, you may consider
turning these features off. Also, note that rotate/resize are not
available for GIF or PDF images - users will simply not be given
the option.

The second box allows you to choose 1) if you want to be emailed
each time a new user signs up and 2) if you want each new user to
be emailed when they sign up. If you answered yes to number 2, you
must provide an email subject and message to be sent to each new
user. Several variables are available, including [name], [email],
[password], and [url].

The third box allows you turn the signup approval/rejection feature
on or off. (See Pending Users above) Like the last box, you can
configure the related emails.

The fourth and last box allows you to modify two settings related
to your User Manager page. You can also use this box to ban user
signups by email address or IP address.

>> HTML SETTINGS

The HTML Settings page is used to add HTML code into the header or
footer areas of the user interface, which allows you to customize
the look and feel of your IMS. If you want to modify the stylesheet,
you can manually change styles.css. Also, vars.php contains the
internal header/footer for the IMS. Modify this file if you want to
change the appearance of the IMS user interface.

>> BACKUP/RESTORE

The Backup/Restore page provides detailed instructions for backing
up your data and restoring it when necessary. We recommend that you
backup your data as often as possible.
